Oh Christmas tree ... oh Christmas tree

Hi all, I thought I would take a break from generating our Christmas gift guides and show you the latest decorating we have done in my home ... yes you guessed it, its our tree.

Although we have had our Christmas tree up in our home since August due to the Homes+ photo shoot, we decided to change it. The reason you ask?? Well, our original Christmas tree is over 25 years - it belonged to my parents and it was our Christmas tree when I was a child, but it has now started to fall apart. The second tree was a real live tree (the kid's love it, but due to the extremely weather we are experiencing in Sydney at the moment, our real christmas tree was really struggling with the heat, so we bit the bullet and bought a new one.

We purchased our newest Christmas tree from Balsam Hill. Tin stars/baubles from Foiling Star.

Christmas Gift Guide #6 - Pretty pinks

Scandi inspired monochrome / black and white Christmas

I can't help but love black and white for Christmas this year. Everytime I see a photo of someone's living room with that theme it gives me goose bumps and goes so well with a scandinavian theme. "Black and white" is so classic and easy to do well I think - I would like to definitely give it a try next year!!

Introducing A Grape Design ... from Sweden

As you have probably gathered, I have a thing for cute and colourful illustrations!! I discovered A Grape Design on Etsy and couldn't wait to stock them in my online shop.

These fabulous illustrations come all the way from Sweden and here are some of my favourites (well actually, I love all of the ones featured in my shop ... it was so hard to only choose four to feature).
